Preventive Medicine
The Preventive Medicine Department provides public health surveillance through sanitation inspections and monitoring of drinking water on Navy and Marine Corps installations to ensure the readiness of our warfighters and the health and safety of their families. We also conduct disease surveillance and reporting of specific medical events that may affect force health protection and impact mission capability.
